In the early 1990s, California welder Vince Frere was fabricating stainless steel tanks for the wine and brewing industries. But he wasn’t content with simply following industry standards. Vince saw opportunities to improve designs, refine fabrication methods, and build equipment that performed better for the people who relied on it every day.

Driven by that vision, he founded Sonoma Stainless in Santa Rosa, California, with a commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and quality that continues to define the company today.
